ST. BERNADETTE’S CIVIL ASSOCIATION
The St. Bernadette’s Civil Association is a non-profit organization with a long history, dedicated to the protection and integral development of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. Through our programmes, we promote safe environments where they can grow, learn and develop fully. Our programmes include the Children’s Day Centre, the Remedial School, the Residential Home and the Child Safeguarding Programme.

1.CONFIDENTIALITY AND PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY:
The St. Bernadette’s Civil Association guarantees the confidentiality and security of personal data provided voluntarily through our official channels, in compliance with Law No. 29733, Law on the Protection of Personal Data and its Regulations (Supreme Decree No. 016-2024-JUS), the principles and measures adopted for the correct treatment of information are established.
Personal data will be used exclusively for the management of donations, internal audits and the dissemination of institutional activities. We have security measures in place to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, alteration or disclosure of information.
If you support with your personal data any of our petitions or activities disseminated on our website or social networks, we will register in our database that you have signed a cyber action. This implies that some of your data may be communicated to contact you via telephone, SMS or digital media, in order to inform you about our campaigns and invite you to participate in future initiatives.
St. Bernadette’s civil Association also participates in Facebook’s customized public programmes and similar audiences, which allows us to show our content to people with interests related to our work. To do this, we may provide personal information such as your email address to Facebook, which encrypts it securely.

2. SECURITY MEASURES:
– We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer or Secure Socket Layer Protocol) technology on the pages of the website to protect the data you send over the internet.
– Personal data is only accessible to those people at St. Bernadette’s who need to use it to carry out their assigned tasks, for example, the member services team.
– There are internal regulations on the protection of personal data which are known to everyone who works for St. Bernadette’s and which must be complied with.

– The St. Bernadette’s Civil Association works to guarantee the rights of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations, offering them spaces for protection, education and integral development.
– Supporting our cause means sharing our values and being committed to the welfare of children.
– As part of the community, you will receive regular updates on our activities, campaigns and the impact of our work.
3.2 YOUR CONTRIBUTION:
– Your support, along with that of other partners, allows us to continue transforming the lives of children and adolescents, offering them a future full of opportunities.
– You can make your contribution through bank transfers to our accounts at Banco Continental (BBVA) and Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP), through Yape and PayPal.
– The amount will be debited from your account on the date and method you selected when you made your donation. If the debit cannot be made, we will try to process it again in the next cycle.
– Your donation is a voluntary act of solidarity that contributes directly to our programmes. If at any time you wish to stop donating, you can write to us at:

3.3 DONATIONS:
– Donations enable our programmes to continue to benefit more vulnerable children and adolescents.
– All contributions will be used for the implementation of our programmes and will be subject to internal audits.
If St. Bernadette’s Civil Association makes changes to any of the terms or conditions of this Privacy and Data Protection Policy, such changes will be reflected in this document, so that all associates, donors or collaborators are aware of what information is collected and how it is used.
